Hiltingbury Schools Speech and Language Centre is a specialist resourced provision for primary-age pupils with speech, language and communication needs, located within Hiltingbury Infant and Junior School. It was set up by Hampshire County Council in September 1994 as a provision for children with severe speech and language difficulties living in the southern part of the County.
We offer places for 12 pupils aged between the age of 4 and 11 who have a Statement (Education, Health, Care plan) for Special Educational Needs with speech and language as the primary area of need identified. As well as having a place within the resourced provision, children will have a place in Hiltingbury Infant School or Hiltingbury Junior School, and will be a full member of a class within the school.

These are delivered within an environment that promotes confidence and inclusivity.
