Parents' Association (HSPTA)

All parents of children attending the school are automatically members of the Association and there is no subscription fee.  The HSPTA covers both the infant and junior schools.  The committee and subsequent sub-committees organise a whole range of events, some intended to be just social, both for children and parents (e.g. Easter Egg hunts and quiz nights) and some with the added intention of fund-raising (e.g. the Christmas fayre).  The wealth of expertise and resourcefulness in the parent body, combined with their willingness to give time and effort, ensures a comprehensive and fun-filled series of events throughout the academic year.  The school also gains tremendous benefit from the extra monies raised.

Over the years the HSPTA have raised lots of funds for our school which we have spent as follows:

  • 2008/09  -           £7,100 raised               -           Planters and Year R Gazebo
