School Uniform
We encourage our children to wear a school uniform to feel part of our school community and to wear our logo with pride, but plain uniform in our school colours is absolutely fine.
Uniform Expectations
The uniform at Hiltingbury Infant School is navy blue or grey trousers, skirt or pinafore. This should be worn with a navy sweatshirt and a white polo shirt, both of which are available with the school logo.
In summer, blue and white dresses or navy/grey shorts may be worn.
We ask that children wear appropriate footwear in black or navy for school (not trainers please). Children need a coat in cooler weather as they have daily outdoor play.
PE Days
It is important that children are properly dressed for physical education. For PE days, navy or black shorts and a white T-Shirt should be worn (Logo options are available but not required). No PE footwear is required when children initially start school.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL CLOTHING IS NAMED, including socks, shoes and bags.
Where can I buy uniform?
Logo uniform can be purchased via School Trends or Skoolkit
You can also purchase secondhand uniform via the HSPTA website.
You can buy school bookbags direct from the school office by topping up your Arbor account.
Hair and Jewellery
No jewellery is to be worn or brought into school unless this is for religious reasons, and has been discussed with the class teacher. Studs may be worn in pierced ears, but not on PE days. Children have to be able to remove the studs themselves, as teachers are not allowed to do this. No earrings may be worn during any PE lessons, due to health and safety reasons and in conjunction with county guidelines.
We ask that children with long hair have this tied back securely on PE days for safety reasons.
