Pupil Premium
Text
The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the Government to help improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged pupils and to help close the attainment gap between them and their peers.
At Hiltingbury Infant school, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. We use Pupil Premium funding to provide targeted support, high-quality teaching, and enriching experiences that help pupils overcome barriers to learning and make the very best progress.
Our approach focuses on:
-
High-quality teaching for all pupils.
-
Targeted academic support where needed.
-
Enhancing children's wellbeing, attendance and engagement in school life.
-
Providing wider opportunities and experiences that support personal development.
-
Ensuring that all pupils feel included, valued and successful.
We carefully monitor the impact of our spending to ensure that funding is used effectively and delivers positive outcomes for pupils.
