Healthy, Nutritious School Meals
We are proud to offer a range of healthy, balanced and nutritious meals each day to support children's health, wellbeing and learning.
Our school meals are freshly prepared and provide children with a variety of food choices, helping them to develop healthy eating habits and enjoy trying new foods. Menus are carefully planned to ensure they meet national nutritional standards and cater for a range of dietary requirements.
Universal Infant Free School Meals
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to receive a free school meal under the Government's Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme.
We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity, allowing children to enjoy a healthy meal with their friends each day at no cost.
Menu Choices
Children can choose from a selection of meal options each day, including:
-
A hot main meal
-
A vegetarian option
-
Fresh vegetables and salads
-
Healthy desserts and fruit choices
Current menus can be viewed and downloaded below.
Special Diets and Allergies
We are committed to ensuring that all children can enjoy school meals safely. If your child has a food allergy, intolerance, medical dietary requirement or cultural dietary preference, please contact the school office so appropriate arrangements can be made.
Packed Lunches
Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch from home. We encourage healthy choices and ask parents and carers to provide a balanced lunch wherever possible.
To help keep all children safe, please do not include products containing nuts in packed lunches.
Fruit and Drinks
Children are encouraged to eat a healthy and balanced diet. They are offered a piece of fruit (prepared and ready to eat) for morning break. Children have free access to water in every class, we believe this aids their concentration. Children are encouraged to bring water in a named bottle to sip throughout the day.
A milk scheme is available for children. You can register your child for school milk via Cool Milk. Registered children receive their milk at morning break.
